Angelica M. Leon, Esq. is the managing partner of Beverly Hills (State Bar No. 224719) Law Associates which was founded in 2001 by her and Stephen M. Losh. She oversees the companies’ daily operations and helps to maintain client relationships. Ms. Leon is a graduate of UCSD with a bachelor degree in Political Science and minors in History and Communications. She attended law school at University of San Francisco and graduated in 2001. Ms. Leon’s current practice areas include Business (both transactional and litigation), Entertainment Law related matters, and Loan Modification Workouts.

Stephen M. Losh, Esq. attended the University of Michigan for both undergraduate and Law school. Mr. Losh began his legal career in Detroit wherein he was chief trial counsel for Metropolitan National Bank of Farmington and subsequently, Ross Properties, a large real estate developer. Mr. Losh also handled numerous criminal matters in Detroit such as People v Jacob Serra; wherein he was responsible for getting the previous marijuana statute declared unconstitutional. In United States v Richard Brian Hahn, Mr. Losh succeeded in obtaining a favorable outcome in the last draft resistance case. In 1987, Mr. Losh relocated to California. Mr. Losh’s current practice area includes but is not limited to, General Litigation, first party insurance claims, Claim & Delivery actions on behalf of Banks, Credit Unions, Leasing Companies and related collection activity, Consumer, First party real property residential and commercial insurance (including bad faith), and loan modification law. Furthermore, Mr. Losh has handled numerous successful appellate cases. Most recently, the California Supreme Court granted his Petition for Review in Century National Insurance Co., v Jesus & Theodora Garcia. Mr. Losh is admitted to practice law in the California Federal Central and Southern District Courts, as well as the Federal Ninth and Sixth Federal Courts of Appeal, and all State Courts in the State of California. Mr. Losh is also an active member of CAALA, a consumer attorney organization.

Ron C. Mukai, Esq. (State Bar No. 174539) is the newest addition to Beverly Hills Law Associates. Mr. Mukai has been practicing law since 1994 after graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law and completing his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California where he graduated cum laude, with a degree in International Relations . Mr. Mukai has extensive experience in business and real estate, holding a California Real Estate Broker’s License and completing several successful real estate developments. Mr. Mukai’s current practice areas include business law, real estate law and loan modification workouts.

Joseph Khoshlesan, Esq. is an associate in the Civil Litigation department of our Beverly Hills office. His practice focuses on first-party real property insurance litigation, bad faith claims, and real estate litigation.

Joseph received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2010. While at Hastings, he was a founding member and Productions Editor of the Hastings Science and Technology Law Journal and received first place honors for his brief in the U.S. Western Super Regional, Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Joseph's other notable accomplishments while at Hastings include representing an appellant, pro bono, from opening briefs to oral argument, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in the case of Harvey v. City of Oakland (Case No. 08-17620) and externing at the California Supreme Court for the Honorable Justice Joyce J. Kennard.

In 2006, Joseph earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego graduating cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa Honors.

Daren H. Lipinsky, Esq. (of counsel). Since the firm's inception in 2000, Mr. Lipinsky has successfully represented clients in all areas of employment litigation, including cases involving sexual harassment, disability and pregnancy discrimination, race, age, sexual orientation and gender discrimination, California Family Rights Act violations, Wage and Hour violations, retaliation, breach of contract, and wrongful termination in violation of public policy . His aggressive and dedicated approach to the litigation process and the rights of employees has resulted in numerous successes against some of the nation's largest employers. Recently, Mr. Lipinsky obtained an aggregate award of over $3 million from a National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) arbitration panel against a national brokerage-dealer on behalf of three injured clients. Mr. Lipinsky was named to this year's Marquis Who's Who in American Law, 30th Anniversary Edition Mr. Lipinsky is an active member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Eastern San Gabriel Bar Association, the Western San Bernardino Bar Association, the Los Angeles Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
